The George Caceres Foundation Sponsors Its First Celebrity Appearance In London

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) December 17, 2008 -- George Caceres, President of The George Caceres Foundation was pleased to announce today that the foundation's first official trip to London was a tremendous success. The foundation which sponsors teen celebrity appearances in cities outside of Hollywood has been planning a trip to London for sometime and Caceres was thrilled to bring the benefits of the foundation to the United Kingdom. Children, teenagers and plenty of parents from London were surprised to see Adrian R'Mante from the Disney Channel's television show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody in person. Adrian made an appearance in London at the Westlake Center on Saturday, December 6 to sign autographs and pose for photos on behalf of the George Caceres Foundation.

Fans of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody couldn't believe they were actually seeing an actor from the popular Disney show in person. "It's Estaban he's actually here in London," said teenager Sophie Jones from Essex. "My friends and I watch The Suite Life of Zack & Cody all the time but we thought we'd have to fly to Hollywood to meet one of its stars," Jones expressed excitedly.

Adrian R'Mante met with children, young adults and their families for the better part of the afternoon and early evening on Saturday shaking plenty of hands and giving out hugs to children with special needs and fans of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. "I can't begin to explain how good it felt to meet all these kids from the United Kingdom," R'Mante explained. "It's a treat to travel 7,000 miles away from home and to be welcomed with such warmth, I didn't realize the popular extent of The Suite Life abroad. The George Caceres Foundation does good things for kids and I'm happy to be part of it," said R'Mante.

"To me the George Caceres Foundation has always been about helping children and teenagers find their truest dreams, to discover their best talents and to help them make their own dreams come true," says George Caceres. "I enjoy introducing teen celebrities to children just to watch their faces light up with joy when they see a particular celebrity. I'm glad we had an opportunity to bring the foundation to London," explained Caceres. "I think it made a lot of people very happy."

In the United States the George Caceres Foundation has generously continued to host teen celebrities in various cities especially wanting to carry the foundation's message during the holiday season. Michael Petterson from Disney's High School Musical 3 and Disney's Movie Surfers appeared in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Meanwhile the George Caceres Foundation also sponsored a trip for Tadhg Kelly from Nickelodeon's Unfabulous to appear in Washington D.C. in late November and will soon welcome Tadhg's co-star Malese Jow who is also from Unfabulous to appear as well. The teen comedy starring Emma Roberts is very popular with children and teens right now and they are lining up for their chance to meet with cast members.

"It's very touching for me to be able to have these teens who have achieved their dreams so early on in life meet every day children who themselves want to act someday. It's good for kids to meet their idols and get important advice. I'm happy I can facilitate this," George Caceres Foundation President said.

"It's an incredibly rewarding experience to see children's faces in local malls completely light up when they get a change to hug a Hollywood teen celebrity," said Michael Peterson. "I had a blast meeting everyone and being introduced to so many great kids." This sentiment was echoed by Tadhg Kelly, "Those kids are totally cool in D.C. I think we get a little used to things in Hollywood and it's nice to get out there and see where it's really at in America," finished Kelly.

The George Caceres Foundation works closely with established non-profit organizations such as Girl Scouts of America, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, always remembering how important reaching out to special needs children and teenagers can be. The foundation also pays particular attention to special needs' family members and close friends who can be as easily affected by the demands of day-to-day living. The foundation's goal is to bring a lift to children and teenagers by introducing them to Hollywood teen talent who children usually only see through their computers and television sets.
